Policy

Editorial policy

How the Canada Peptides research library is written, reviewed, cited, and corrected. Last reviewed 2026-05-25.

Editorial Mission

Canada Peptides publishes research-library content to help qualified laboratory professionals evaluate peptide reference standards, Certificates of Analysis, analytical methods, storage conditions, and RUO procurement requirements. The library is written for in-vitro research, cosmetic raw-material formulation review, and analytical-method comparison. It does not provide medical advice, therapeutic instructions, personal-use guidance, or dosing recommendations.

Author Credentials and Disclosure

Authors listed are editorial roles maintained by the Canada Peptides research-library team. Content represents the composite expertise of the team and is reviewed for chemistry accuracy and RUO compliance before publication. For corrections, contact editor@canadapeptides.io.

Author names on the research library are composite editorial roles. They are not undisclosed individual biographies. Each role exists to show which editorial function owned the article: analytical chemistry, structural-biology review, or regulatory/compliance review. See the full editorial team page for role descriptions.

Fact-Checking Process

Every research-guide article passes a chemistry-review step before publication. The reviewer checks molecule names, residue counts, method language, analytical tolerances, COA interpretation, and RUO boundaries against Canada Peptides source files and peer-reviewed references. Claims that cannot be supported are rewritten, softened, or flagged for human research.

Citation Standards

Mechanism, structure, analytical-method, and quantitative claims cite peer-reviewed literature with DOI links wherever possible. Wikipedia, anonymous blogs, sales pages, and forum claims are not acceptable citation sources. Official regulatory and pharmacopeial documents can supplement DOI literature for compliance topics, but they do not replace primary or authoritative method sources when a scientific claim needs support.

RUO Compliance Review

Articles are scanned before publication for banned clinical, dosing, performance, and consumer-use phrases. Content stays anchored to in-vitro research, analytical characterisation, procurement review, cosmetic raw-material formulation, and reference-standard handling. Articles do not imply human or veterinary use.

Corrections Policy

Readers can report corrections to editor@canadapeptides.io. The editorial team acknowledges substantive corrections within two business days and either updates the article, explains why no change was made, or marks the item for expert review. Material corrections update the page’s lastReviewed date and, where useful, include a short correction note.

Conflicts of Interest

Canada Peptides sells reference standards that may be linked from research-library articles. Product links are included for procurement convenience and internal navigation. Editorial content distinguishes evidence-backed scientific explanation from catalog copy, and articles do not overstate a product’s suitability beyond RUO and analytical-characterisation contexts.

Funding and Sponsorship

The research library is owned and funded by Canada Peptides. No third-party sponsored articles are accepted unless a future sponsorship policy is published and clearly disclosed. Vendor, lab, or partner relationships are not named unless the operator has permission to disclose them.

Update Cadence

Every research-guide article carries a lastReviewed date. Articles are reviewed at least annually, and sooner if a method standard, pharmacopeial expectation, product specification, or compliance position changes. Citation retrofits are rechecked when new article batches are published.
